Theirs to Punish

by Ivy Barrett

For Anna Corvina, preparing human females for breeding was just a job.

Until today...

Today she became the property of three Kobar warriors.

It shouldn't have been possible. She wasn't even supposed to be entered in the lottery, but her sharp tongue got her in trouble with her stern, infuriatingly sexy alien boss and he apparently decided that a painful, humiliating public spanking was not a sufficient reminder of her place.

Anna knows what comes next, and that only makes it more shameful.

Soon she will be bare and on display for her new masters, and then there will be no hiding the arousal glistening on her thighs as she is punished, trained, and used in any way they please.

Soon there will be no denying that her body aches to be bred.

I’m on a scifi kick…and the second one in this series popped up, so I obviously downloaded the first. Only 169 pages, I was prepared for pure smut.

Let me tell you: PURE SMUT. **Insert laughter**

So Anna throws a fit to her alien boss who offers her the choice of being spanked (bare ass) in front of the office or losing her job. She takes the spanking - and likes it, BUT how dare she admit that? So she throws another fit and her boss purchases her in the lottery - a lottery created to offer aliens some “contact”. *Wink wink* Anyway, the aliens are often in groups - this one has 3. She continues throwing all her fits and they PUNISH her. Hence the name. They’re determined to break her bad behavior. But then, one of them is in trouble and in exchange for her help, they release her from the year contract. She chooses to stay voluntarily.

Um. CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS. This punishment is NOT CONSENSUAL. Some of the sexual acts are NOT CONSENSUAL. The story wasn’t told in a way that made me want to vomit, but just to be clear: this is rape and abuse.

There are 4 main characters in this book: I liked 1 of them, I was ok with 1 of them, 1 I understood, and it took A LOT of the story before I liked the FMC. The story was fine, but it was a story that allowed for a lot of deeper connections and introspections than was given. I dunno. Things happened quickly.

-SPOILERS-

Things shouldn’t have been as hot as they were in this story. Jiminy crickets. This book makes me question all my preconceived notions.

Ok, so obviously: I don’t like erotic punishments, like 95% of the time. Also, I’m starting to think that spanking is REALLY unclever. Anyway. I don’t like punishment in stories yet I chose a book called Theirs to PUNISH. I knew going in what I was getting. It’s in the fucking title. Maybe that’s why my brain was already set up to deal. THEN, the FMC sucks. She’s a selfish diva that not only puts herself and her appearance first, but also actually NEGLECTS the girls who go to her for help. I don’t care why she does it. I don’t care about your trauma. Get over yourself. Stop perpetuating the trauma. So, yeah, she deserved the punishment…except, I didn’t like that they used punishment. Ugh. I know what they were going for. I’m not sure it’s something that I can understand because I don’t experience punishment that way. I’ve talked to some girls who do like it and it does help and my brain can’t compute, but I would never, ever say they’re wrong because it works for them.

I’m so confused.

Anyway, so I didn’t mind the spanking, as unoriginal as it was, because I knew the breakthrough they were trying to cause.

That anal trainer though. Shit. Like that was mean…but I still didn’t put the book down? I’m concerned about my head right now. I really hate “obey me” men. I do. And when she was punished for not listening on that one, I didn’t agree with the punishment. At that point they were trying to break her spirit and that bothered me.

The spanking was to benefit every girl that turned to her for help for the rest of her career. It was benefitting the human race, essentially. The trainer was to benefit them and that hit me wrong.

…but I still liked it.

Fuck.

Anyway, so Endar. He was fine. He was irrelevant for me. I get that every group needs an alpha, but meh. Tekel, I flipped back and forth on. He was a terrible mix of compassionate and missing the mark and I was bothered. I liked Ranzek. He was playful and just better.

Reverse Harem

“Take it,” he ordered. “He’ll let you breathe in a moment. His pleasure is more important than your breath. You will relax and do this. You will do it for me.”
