STORY SCORE (1-10)

  1. There wasn’t one.

  2. I think they at least started with one. They didn’t finish it though or they changed it midway.

  3. The author had an idea but didn’t do anything to make it come to life. It was flat and ill-informed.

  4. The author had an idea and seemed to know what they were talking about, but it was utterly stereotypical and unspecial.

  5. Something about this book was good. Maybe it’s  the characters, the plot, the idea, the writing, etc. Maybe it just had great sex scenes or good dialogue. Something was really enjoyable. At the same time, something about this book I didn’t enjoy.

  6. Yeah, yeah…I liked it…but I have questions.

  7. I really like this book. The characters worked well and were likable. The story was enjoyable, even if predictable. The plot was straight forward and complete. I feel like there was closure for all major plot points.

  8. I really, really like this book. I know where the characters are coming from, I understand their motivations. The story was engaging and fun and I didn’t want to get off the ride anytime soon.

  9. I loved this book. The story was complete. I felt like I knew the characters on a personal level. Nothing about this book was only just okay for me. This story had me so caught up that I experienced some type of emotion.

  10. This book was utterly immersive. The characters’ senses melded into my own. The characters showed growth. The world building was of the perfect depth. The plot had a beginning, middle, and conclusion and every level in between. There are no questions left unanswered. The story was original and creative or brought to life a story that otherwise would’ve been like any other. I want to live in these characters’ lives. Never once did I hesitate to continue and I never wanted this to end. I dream about this book!
