This book I got off TikTok and a friend’s husband chose it for me to read when I was lost in a sea of options, lol. It was only available on Amazon on MP3 CD though, so I had to buy it off the author’s website. In this book’s defense, I knew from the initial recommendation that this book had a breeding kink element to it and and I knew from the author’s note in the blurb that it was insta-love.
This book was ridiculous. Lol.
She comes into his shop for some car reason and he sees her and instantly wants her. After fixing her car, he sexually harasses her: “ass or cash”. WTF? Then he sees her out and realizes she’s getting married. It turns out to be an arranged marriage by her evil father, but that’s neither here nor there. Anyway, then he breaks her car so she has to come in again and AGAIN, he makes her pay with her body- this time finding out that she’s a virgin. He follows her when she’s supposed to go on a date with her future husband, coerces her into going home with him. He has sex with her - which was uncaring for me. He tells her that he won’t use a condom because he wants her pregnant. Her dad comes to get her because her grandma is sick (which is how he’s been controlling her to begin with). She doesn’t get to see her grandma, but the new guy does, and grandma gives him her wedding ring when he sneaks into the house. Grandma dies. They get to be together.
I didn’t like anything about this book except when it ended, lol. The characters were STUPID. The storyline was weak. The sex wasn’t arousing. It was just…all…there. Whatever. Lol. It wasn’t bad enough to make me wish I didn’t read it, however, I wish I wouldn’t have paid for it.
