Eyes On Me

by Sara Cate

I’m a voyeur—it means I like to watch. And in my line of work, that’s a gift.

As one of the four owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, I’m comfortable on the sidelines. This is what I was made to do, and I work better alone.

Until the day I stumble on a certain cam girl app and find myself watching the one person I should never have watched—my step-sister.

There are three big problems with this.

One, Mia and I can’t stand each other.

Two, she has no idea I’m the man on the other end of the video.

And three…I’m hooked—on the app and on her.

Now, Mia has me wanting and doing things I said I’d never do again, like opening up and getting attached. I’m falling for her, but she’s falling for the mystery man I’m pretending to be.

If I’m going to make this right, then I have to do more than just watch.

But how far will I go to keep her eyes on me?

All over the FB Groups, I was determined not to read this book. I didn’t like Praise and I didn’t want to read a step-sibling book. I also don’t ever choose enemies-to-lovers stories. However, people kept sharing screenshots and they were awesome and I was really interested in the voyeurism aspect of it.

Um, I LIKED this book. I liked this book a lot.

Garrett has depression - undiagnosed and untreated. (Been there) He doesn’t think much of himself in many ways and he holds himself apart from pretty much everything. Work is one of the only things that fulfills him. He even figures out that he’d rather watch people having sex than have sex himself. Then he sees his step-sister (who is 14(?) years than him and he fights with constantly) on a cam girls app. He watches and suddenly realizes that she’s all grown up. He pretends to be someone else and interacts with her on the app but very quickly decides that he wants to play with her in person. They have a bit of a fling - however after learning that she’s a virgin, he refuses to take her virginity, so - it’s everything but sex. They both fall for each other but neither want to admit it. Eventually she decides to push the issue, and she does. They have sex. Eventually she figures out his deception about pretending to be one guy online and another in person, so she dumps him. HIs friends drag him out of his house after about two weeks and he begs her to take him back.

I didn't particularly like either character. I didn’t like the tropes. I don’t even know why I liked the book. But I did. I loved the kinks. I enjoyed the growth. I LOVED the kinks. Lol. I have depression so some of Garrett’s thoughts were absolutely logical to me in a way they wouldn’t be to people who haven’t experienced it. I loved that it was him instead of her for once.

The last 11% of this book…hot damn. I sincerely don’t want to write my thoughts because I know someone I know is going to read this. But note to self: the last 11% of this book!

I know I had a million thoughts about this book but I don’t know what they were at the moment. Here's a list of ransom ones for later:

- I appreciated that even though she was a virgin, she wasn't entirely clueless.

- This book made me like Emerson (from Praise) so much more.

- I'm liking Eden more and more.

- I found it believable that Garrett never saw Mia as anything sexual until the timeline in this book.

- I don't think I'll read another step-sibling story though. I found this one easy to "ignore", but I'm not into it. Lol.

Two-Person Love Triangle

“Goddamn, baby. Look at you,” I mumble, staring down at her. Her big blue eyes gaze up at me, tears pooling in them as she swallows me down. “My cock is down your throat, Mia. It looks so fucking good from this angle. I can’t stop watching you.”
