The Losten brothers have lived in my head for years. It all started with Journey and grew until there are now seven of them. I couldn't ever decide the story I wanted to tell, so I figured I should just tell them all!

If it started with Journey, why did Lochlan come first, you ask?

Why does any choice ever get made? Because a girl came along.

Lol. Kidding, kind of.

When I joined several "spicy book" Facebook groups last year, I met one of my (now) closest friends. We don't have a lot in common in the way of spicy books, but we clicked from the first day with an ease that is still shocking. (We clicked so well that we've now even vacationed together, each of us flying halfway across the country to meet.)

While dicussing books, we realized very early that she has a love for the bullies and alphaholes. I, on the other hand, am solid Team Good Guy. What we did, and do, agree on is that it's that magnetism and passion that we're drawn to. She pointed out that a lot of the good guy stories lack that, and all the sweetness in the stories was cavity-inducing. So I set out to make a man that would treat his woman like gold and f*ck her like she was his possession - it was the balance of sweet and sexy that I was after.

I thought that would be Lochlan. Afterall, he is the most adventurous of the brothers. He's willing to try anything and he has a filthy mouth, and he will also do anything he has to in order to give Briar what she wants.

Sweet does not have to equal boring.

Then I started writing, and Lochlan and Briar had minds of their own. The other brothers showed sides of themselves that I hadn't considered before. There's no telling who may end up being the favorite.

So meet the guys.
